DONATIONS DROP OFF
Cleaning out your cupboards over the school holidays? Drop your good quality items down
to SJV at our next donation drop off day!
We’re in need of:
• Books
• Second-hand items for the White Elephant stall
• Plants
• Arts and craft items
Items can be dropped to SJV between 3pm–5pm on Sunday 13 October, the last day of the school holidays. The fete team will be on hand at the gate to assist and there will be labelled boxes for your donations. Please note electrical goods can’t be accepted.
If you’ve got a bit of extra time, we’d love you to join the fete working bee at the same time.
We’ll be getting things ready, sorting donations and making lolly bags. Any time you can give is amazing!
VOLUNTEERS
We’re still in need of some helping hands to ensure the fete is a fantastic day! If you can help, please email us, pick up a form from the front office, or fill in this two minute survey.
On the On the day, we’re also grateful if you can lend:

THE FAMOUS SJV RAFFLE
Don’t forget to hand in your sold raffle books for a chance to win a Domino's pizza voucher in the weekly draw! Winners are announced every Friday at assembly. the family who returns the most sold tickets, will receive a $50 My Sweet Lady gift voucher -yummmm!

We're in need of volunteers to pop down to Cooleman Court to sell tickets to our local community. Gather your friends and pick a time that suits you! All you need to do is let us know you're interested and we can provide the details.
QKR PRE-FETE SALES
Ride wristbands are now available for pre-purchase on QKR at the discounted price of $25 per child (will be $30 to buy on fete day). Get in early for unlimited turns on the inflatable obstacle course, jumping castle, mega rock climbing wall and laser tag! You can even pre-purchase for all your friends and family.

Our amazing Mel participated in a Bingo Trivia night hosted by the Australian School Canteen Association.
It was a fantastic networking event for her to connect with fellow Canteen Managers.
Congratulations to Mel for winning one of the Bingo prizes—a new set of chopping boards and a knife block worth $100!

Mango Fundraiser
The ELC will be doing our famous Mango fundraiser again this year. Trays of Bowen Kensington Pride mangos direct from tropical North Queensland will be delivered to the ELC in Term 4, Week 8 (week starting 2 December). Trays are approximately 7kgs and contain between 12 and 20 mangoes. Trays are $29 each on Qkr!
2025 ELC and Kinder Orientation
St Jude’s Orientation morning for children enrolled in ELC for 2025 will be held on Thursday 7 November.
St John Vianney’s Kinder Orientation morning is Tuesday 29 October.
