On Monday the Stingrays and Turtles celebrated World Bee Day to recognise the importance of our hard-working little pollinators. We dressed up as bees, enjoyed bee themed activities and had a special visit from Tony the bee-keeper who shared lots of information about the habits of bees. The Lobsters and Turtles class also celebrated World Turtle Day today. They dressed in green and enjoyed activities and investigations about Turtles. We are very lucky to have two of our very own Turtles living at the ELC. ‘Hide’ and ‘Seek’ enjoyed coming out of their tank so the children could have a closer look at them today.
