ELC Philosphy

At St Jude’s Early Learning Centre we recognise and understand children’s natural sense of wonder.

We aim to foster each child’s SPIRIT, MIND and BODY through WONDERING, QUESTIONING, INTERACTING, REFLECTING and PRAYING.

We value the IMPORTANCE of FAMILIES in our centre and strive to do our best in COMMUNICATING and INVOLVING FAMILIES in our community.

We believe all children need to be MOTIVATED, CHALLENGED, STIMULATED and NURTURED in an ENVIRONMENT that is SAFE, SUPPORTIVE and EMBRACES DIVERSITY.

We achieve this by ALLOWING CHILDREN to be THEMSELVES, HAVE FUN and TRY NEW and EXCITING EXPERIENCES in conjunction with the Early Years Learning Framework.

We believe each STAFF MEMBER BRINGS UNIQUE GIFTS and PERSONAL QUALITIES to the team.

We strive to build a SUPPORTIVE and OPEN RELATIONSHIP with each other and share a COMMITMENT to providing the HIGHEST QUALITY of CARE, SUPPORT and EDUCATION to the children
